Who Is Pastor Nahum

Pastor Nahum is a Haitian born pastor, who operates an orphanage in his own home, a school of over  160 children

(pre-k through 6th grade), and leads a church of approximately 200 people.

Pastor Nahum and his wife Vena have 6 biological children of their own, and 17 other orphaned children who live in their home, which is a small, maybe 1400 square foot cement house.

Many children sleep on the floor, or 2-4 to a bed.

Our Involvement

Back to Life Ministries was originally his dream in Haiti before any outside involvement-- to care for and help educate children, and raise up leaders that would change Haiti for the better.  Since his partnership with  Americans, Back to Life Ministries was established stateside as a non profit organization in 2011, with a board that oversees all decisions made on the American side, to best benefit him, his family, school, orphanage and church.

Our desire as the board is to come alongside Pastor Nahum, and help accomplish the vision God gave him by equipping him and his village in whatever way possible.
